CWA Christians With Attitude

Today CWA (Christian World Adoption) sent an invite out to a picnic they are having. One of my CWA friends sent it to our group and said we should all go- and tell them that all our kids are 3 and under- since kids 3 and under were free. We decided that since CWA got away with lying to many of us as well as both the US and Ethiopian Government's about the ages of so many of our children for their own purposes- we should be able to "adjust" their ages for our purposes as well. We thought we might go wearing our CWA shirts...we have them with a wide variety of slogans...what does your shirt say?

Mine says, "CWA: Got Truth?"

My shirt says: His history will NOT be re-written.

BTW: I cannot help but wonder why we were not invited... hmm?

hey... why weren't we invited?! Could it be that people with TRUTH cannot be tolerated, as they may actually cause that very uncomfortable and unwanted conviction that would perhaps set things right were it to be embraced and not shunned?

Perhaps my tshirt would say...

There is nothing to fear except the persistent refusal to find out the truth, the persistent refusal to analyze the causes of happenings. (Dorothy Thompson)

Or maybe...
Falsehood is easy, truth so difficult. (George Eliot)

And finally...
“Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.” (Albert Einstein)

TRUTH!

Is there someplace on the web with more info regarding the "concerns" about CWA?

I was considering using them, but have seen a few concerning comments...would like to be able to read more concrete report, if they are available.

Thanks for sharing.

I can't email you- but there is a Yahoo group for researching adoption agencies that might be helpful to learn more about the different agencies. As far as I know there is no "Don't Use CWA" website. There is a great list of questions posted on the Big Yahoo Ethiopian adoption group which you can use to interview agencies. I would interview and talk to people who have used them and if you have any reservations- especially in regard to ethical issues or how an agency treats its families or children then I would choose a different agency- there are many to choose from. There were only 6 when we went into this. You are doing the right thing by doing your homework.
